Reflections Art in Health Charity
Our charity was registered in May 2011 to enable us to continue our work more effectively in showcasing the creative talents of people with health problems, and those staff who work in the field, in fact anyone who recognises the benefits of art for mental well being.
Following on from Tony's Epic Walk last year, we have run a number of initiatives to try to raise funds to enable us to continue our work in these times of financial cutbacks, including our Curry Night at Sheffield United FC in April, our Trans-Pennine Trail Sponsored Walk in May, and our PARK ART initiative in Preston, Middlesbrough, Warrington, Huddersfield, Bradford Doncaster, Essex and Bedfordshire more recently.
This was followed by our latest shindig at The Elephant and Castle pub in Hemingfield, near Barnsley in early November, where unfortunately we didn’t raise very much money, but a good night was had by all, with the wonderful Michael Dugher MP, our very own Hayley, and the brilliant Dan Smart all performing.
