In my mind I have two rooms
In the first I look out of the window
The sky is very dark
The room is cold
It is furnished with
Despair, fear, loneliness and turmoil
I have the key to this room.
In the other room, I look out of the window
The sky is blue, the sun is shining
The room is warm
It is furnished with
Happiness, hope, love and peace.
I have lost the key to this room.
I hope to find it one day.
Did I say hope?
Had that door been left ajar?

No Lister
I’m not A list, B or C
All I am is just plain me,
Seen the heels and the tresses
Seen the make-up and the dresses
All my photos are of me
Have not been airbrushed, as you see
The surgeon hasn’t done my face
And my boobs are a disgrace,
My teeth, they don’t light up the room,
In fact, I sit here in the gloom,
The only red carpet I’ve walked down,
Was in a pub called, the Rose and Crown
One day, I’ll have some cash to spare
Have it all done and dye the hair
Until then, please don’t fret
Cos what you see is what you get!
