Issue 1: The We're Back Issue
It’s been three years since we were last able to publish Reflections and we were devastated when the funding ran out. It’s been a long time coming, but at last, thanks to the fantastic support of the organisations listed on the inside front cover, we can now re-launch, and this time I can promise you - we are here to stay.
Our main objectives remain the same, and they are to showcase the talent of those of us that have experienced mental health problems to as wider an audience as possible. And in addition to publishing Reflections on a quarterly basis, it is also our intention to produce regional coffee table art books, and organise travelling art exhibitions.
We would also like to give the artists the opportunity to sell their work, so this time for those who wish to do so, we will either include a price, or contact details in order to facilitate contact between the artist/art group and potential purchaser.
We will also be paying a small fee for the work we publish. We are sorry it won’t be much, but it’s a start. Hopefully it will be something we can increase at a later date.
Finally, please, please, please remember we have the will to produce this magazine, but it can only survive with the help and support of all you talented people out there.
We really need you to keep sending your work in, so that we have enough material to sustain publication. Please also remember we are happy to publicise the work of any art group, together with any events/exhibitions you may be running. We are so glad to be back.
